FVMS Counseling Department Mission Statement

The mission of the guidance department of Fuquay Varina Middle School is to provide a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate counseling program addressing the academic, career and personal/social development of all students.  The school counselors at Fuquay Varina Middle School provide support to students, faculty and parents so that each perso​n can achieve excellence in present and future endeavors.

Counseling Services

​The counseling department at Fuquay-Varina Middle School offers a variety of services. They work with students, parents, teachers and administrators to ensure that each student is able to achieve at their highest potential. The counselors work with students on an individual basis, in small groups, and through classroom guidance lessons. A student may come see their counselor during their elective or PE class after getting a pass from their teacher. All of the counselors are available before and after school by appointment.
